Foreign Minister's Plane Touches Down in The Philippines
Foreign Minister Michael Farr has begun his official visit to the Republic of the Philippines. This is the third nation the F.M. has visited on his Asian diplomatic tour. Minister Farr has a number of sites and activities planned on his diplomatic mission to the Philippines. "So far our visits to Thailand and Indonesia have been very successful. I am looking forward to building West Who's profile in the Philippines" said the Foreign Minister.
During his visit, Minister Farr would like to meet with President Rodrigo Duterte to discuss the countries' bilateral relations. He will also visit the cities of Manila, Cebu, and Davao to meet with representatives of the Filipino business communities. The Foreign Minister will also take the opportunity to visit iconic landmarks, such as the Manila Cathedral, and to sample Filipino cuisine. The Foreign Minister has also expressed his intention to visit one of the many islands of the Philippines. "I'm looking forward to going to one of the islands and seeing how the locals live and what the environment is like," Farr said. Minister Farr's visit to the Philippines is an important part of West Who's diplomatic mission to strengthen ties with Asian nations.
