Vice President Visits Salt Flats
Vice President John Farr and Senator Neiderer visited the Salt Flats in Utah, USA on a scientific mission for the West Who Academy of Science. The Vice President did a taste test at the Salt Flats. He reached down chipped off some of the mineral sodium chloride (NaCl) more commonly known as salt. After performing the test the Vice President said, " yes that tastes just like salt". The famous Bonneville Salt Flats are located in the western Utah. It is perfectly flat and has a thick crust of salty soil. It looks like a frozen lake bed covered with snow. No vegetation grows in that area. The Vice President and Senator were the first West Who officials to visit the salt flat.
